Georges St. Pierre out, UFC 67 Main Event in Jeopardy

Georges St. Pierre suffered a knee injury in training and is out of the main event for UFC 67 which is 2/3 in Las Vegas. The question that remains now is what to do with Matt Serra. The risk that is run with having Serra fight at UFC 67 is that if he loses, he’ll also lose out on his title shot. No word yet on a replacement match.

What’s also interesting to note is that Liddell tore his ACL three weeks before his fight at UFC 66 with Tito Ortiz, yet still was able to stand up with Ortiz and walk away with the victory. The injury to St. Pierre is either pretty bad, or Liddell can take that much more pain.
